Last week was NI Apprenticeship Week 5th-9th February 2024 and we celebrated each day, highlighting the importance of Apprentices at Nugent, and the different opportunities available.
The theme for Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Week 2024 was – Release your potential!
The week started by introducing each Nugent apprentice and celebrating their success so far, leading on to the opportunities available if you choose the apprenticeship route at Nugent.
We hosted a Nugent Accelerate event on Wednesday 7th February, inviting all apprentices, placement students and graduates to come together for the ‘Big Nugent Accelerate Quiz’. The theme of the quiz was all things Nugent, allowing employees from different departments to share knowledge about the business in order to win the prize! Directors and members from SWC joined in!
Thursday, we caught up with former apprentices Cathal and Emma, to see ‘Where they are now?’ in the business. To close the week out, we highlighted the Nugent Accelerate programme, and the benefits it brings to apprentices at Nugent.
