Find our simple step-by-step guide below on how to change your Livestock trailer spare wheel. All you need are an Impact Gun and a Torque Wrench. Replace your old or damaged wheels easily in less than 10 steps.
Step 1
Loosen the wheel nuts with the impact gun.
Step 2
Loosen the nuts by hand and remove from the wheel.
Step 3
Remove the old/damaged wheel.
Step 4
Remove the spare wheel on the other side of the trailer using the same process. See steps 1-3.
Step 5
After replacing the old wheel, fasten the nuts by hand.
Step 6
Lightly tighten the nuts with the impact gun. Start at opposite ends to reduce risk of cross treading the stud.
Step 7
Check torque pressure (195Nm). Then secure the wheel tightly with the torque wrench until you hear a click.
