“I started working in Nugent in 2020 as an Apprentice Quality Engineer while studying a Foundation Degree in Manufacturing Engineering. After 1 year working in quality, I moved to Production Planning and have been doing that since. I finished my foundation degree in 2023, and continued on to the Top Up, which is a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering through SWC. My role involves ensuring all trailers will be made on time by planning when material needs to be cut and welded to be available in time for fitters to assemble the trailers. I enjoy the structure of my role as I am both in the office and out in the yard, as I need to stay in contact with all departments to ensure the smooth running of production.”
