We spent some time with Zoltan, who works in welding at Nugent, to hear more about his experience so far.
How did you join Nugent?
One of my friends had worked here and they told me how great of an opportunity it was. Their experience sounded interesting; learning on the job and being able to do hands-on work within a great atmosphere.
What does a typical week look like in your role?
In a typical week, I work on the flatbed chassis and I weld some other trailer parts that have come from the cut shop.
If any other teams need a hand, I also help out on different projects. The week is varied and there is always something interesting to do.
What do you like most about it?
I enjoy this type of work, being able to get involved with different trailer parts and develop my welding skills. I also like the balance of the workload.
What advice would you give to someone considering this role as a career?
Nugent is a good company to work for, there is always something happening that keeps you busy. Due to the expansion in Nugent premises, there are more and more opportunities for developing your career and skillset.
