Nugent have re-launched their range of Cattle Handling Crushes at Balmoral Show.
Nugent has invested heavily in research and development and has brought to market a new generation of versatile, robust, heavy-duty crushes providing excellent access for general handling. Nugent Cattle Crushes are designed to suit the demands of the modern-day farmer, whilst safeguarding the welfare and safety of both the animal and handler.
Designed for modern needs, the new crush range consists for four models: Prime 3000, Pure 2000, Pure 1000 and Universal Hoof Tech. The cattle handling crushes are suitable to use with all Nugent Head Locking Gates.
The Prime 3000 is designed for all round speedy handling of demanding livestock in today’s commercial beef farms. The new 3000 features include gripped rubber floor for maximum animal safety and all doors are slam shut with nylon pins to reduce noise. As well as lockable side gates for full access to the animal, including left hand side fully accessible and access to animal neck area.
The Pro 2000 is designed to give farmers clear access where needed, ensuring the safety of the user and limiting stress for livestock. Features include integrated floor angles for animal grip and comfort, removable bars for full access and anti-backing bar for maximum animal restraint.
The Pure 1000 is designed to be robust and practical, offering full access with its removable central box and bars. Ease of use is enhanced with new slam-shut lockable doors.
The Nugent Universal Hoof Tech specifically designed for hoof trimming. This innovative crush operates a double belly band with a ratchet winch for secure animal positioning and a gripped floor for added comfort.
